Message from Past-Chair

It is my great pleasure to serve as the Chairperson of the Asian Stroke Advisory Panel (ASAP) in 2022-2023, working with a group of distinguishing stroke specialists in Asia.

Stroke is a pervasive global health problem especially in Asia. Owing to the diverse healthcare landscapes across Asia, each country may face the unique challenges to improve the quality of stroke care and raise public awareness of stroke.

ASAP serves as a group to dedicate our invaluable insights and our best practices to Asian people. It is my honor to work alongside a group of motivated like-minded experts from across Asia, to champion our determination of increasing the level of public awareness and research initiatives of stroke.

In the end of my term as the chairman, I would like to express my thanks for your steadfast
dedication to our shared mission. I look forward to our continuous collaborative support we can make to ASAP.
